Guide · Your first week

Send your first quote

From a phone call to a quote the customer accepts online.

Make the quote

  1. Open the customer (or add them: name, mobile and email is enough), then New quote.
  2. Give it a title the customer will recognise, like "New hot water system".
  3. Add lines from your price list, a kit, or type a one-off line. Mark a line Optional to let the customer choose it.
  4. Check the total, then choose Send.

Send it

Adminroo emails the customer a link (or texts it, if you've set up texts). The link opens the quote on their phone, with your logo and business details; they can save it as a PDF.

Want a deposit? Set Deposit when accepted on the quote, and if you take card payments the customer can pay it straight after accepting.

When they accept

The customer ticks any options, signs and accepts. You get a notification, the quote shows Accepted, and its job is ready to book. If they haven't answered after 3 days, Follow-ups email them a friendly reminder, and again at 10 days (you can turn them off for the business or for one quote).

Changes after accepting

Extra work turns up? Add a Variation on the job. The customer approves it online the same way, and it goes onto the invoice.
